Berlin | 2025 | Urban Practice LIVErary

The LIVErary is a growing collection of self-published books, zines, project documentation, and flyers (so called “grey literature”). It functions as an interactive archive that captures the informal knowledge created by city makers—knowledge that often goes undocumented in traditional publishing.

Together with Zachi Razel, I developed the concept and design of the LIVErary.

For the Grand Opening at Torhaus Berlin, we focused on live content. Local initiatives were invited to contribute their self-published zines, bringing the archive to life. We streamed interviews with these initiatives via Torhaus’ own radio station (THF Radio), and welcomed Harry and Marvin—the messy “LIVErarians”—as our guests of honor.

The LIVErary will appear in multiple locations throughout 2025, continuing to grow with every stop.
